Recentemente per motivi di lavoro mi sono intestardito nel voler creare un server FTP ovviamente linux, ma con autenticazione su Microsoft Active Directory.
La difficoltà ovviamente non sta nel creare il server FTP ma nell’autenticazione col domain controller di Windows 2003 Server.
Come server FTP ho optato per il solido e affidabile proFTPd e una Linux Ubuntu Server 7.04.
Installare il server FTP è semplice basta un banale apt-get install proftpd proftpd-ldap proftpd-doc
Attualmente sto ancora impazzendo col OpenLDAP-Client il PAM e il DC di Windows.
Appena avrò la piattaforma funzionante vi posterò qui la guida dettagliata.
